The Story of Us (1999)

You aren't alone if this story hit a little too close to home on your own personal relationships. Even strong couples can pick out correlations to themselves in the film. It takes place over two months during the summer. A married couple, while the kids are away at camp, separate and decide to divorce. Both individuals reflect back on what they had and suffer in what is left. One of the very best adult relationship movies we've seen, with surprisingly strong performances. (Directed by Rob Reiner)
