Sleepers (1996)
Nominated for the Academy Award for original score. I found this movie wholly disturbing. Dealing with molestation and the hate that the victims hold on to, this is another one of those films that leaves you with the feeling that you need to go home and take a shower. Anyway, pretty good film with a gigantic cast. The story was while in novel form, said to be based on the past of Lorenzo Carcaterra, the author. After Levinson finished the project, Carcaterra denounced his claim. (Written and directed by Barry Levinson)
