Pulp Fiction (1994)

Won the Academy Award for screenplay written directly for the screen. Nominated for actor, director, editing, supporting actor, supporting actress, and picture. Winner of the American Film Institute’s top one hundred movies of all time: number ninety-five. An anthem for a postmodern world. This incredible film will be one of the most remembered films from the later quarter of the century as it helped bring independent filmmaking into the spotlight. Its three short stories all wound up into tale, each revolving around similar characters and events. The acting is flawless, the dialog is rich and wonderful, and the direction is brilliant. Tarantino had seen some underground success before this film's release, but was thrust into stardom with its critical acclaim and financial achievement. What else could the MTV generation have asked for? (Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino)
