Oliver Stone is one of the loudest voices in film today. As a veteran of the Vietnam war, he has a lot to say about the war itself and the state of American. His films are haunting and tragic and his more recent projects have taken on a bizarre twist in stylized filmmaking. Overall one of the best screenwriters and/or directors working today.
