New York, New York (1977)

Starting to build a little artistic diversity, Scorsese next choose do direct a musical. The story is about the relationship between a W.W.II solider and his lady friend after he comes home from overseas. The film was originally four and a half hours long, but later cut down to a lean just under three. Perhaps a little long winded. (Directed by Martin Scorsese)
