Misery (1990)

Won the Academy Award for actress. Another Stephen King story. Another fantastic conversion from pages to frames. The story really gets inside your head. It's about a romance writer who, after a car accident, gets held up in a fan's home. The fan is a deranged woman who demands that he write another novel in a completed series of his. Using torture and mind games to get her way, a new story is beaten out. But can he get leave after the novel is completed? The story was later even further adapted into a stage play in Europe.
