Medicine Man (1992)
A scientist is hard at work in the middle of the jungle searching for a cure for cancer. His research is just starting to produce results when a large company comes through and tries to plow the studied section of rain forest down to make way for big business. When McTiernan picked this project up, he decided to film in the same section of rain forest he filmed Predator in. But when he got to the site he found that it had been totally cleared. How's that for irony? (Directed by John McTiernan)
