Ghosts of Mississippi (1996)
Nominated for the Academy Award for makeup and supporting actor. This true story follows the assassination of civil rights activist Medgar Evers and the three trials that followed. The first two trials both ended up hung and the third took place thirty years after the incident. Most of those who have seen it seem to agree: t he acting and the story are good, the film is a little long winded. (Directed by Rob Reiner)
