Harold owns his own cab business in Washington D.C. called D.C. Cab. One day Harold is paid a visit by Albert, the son of one of his old Vietnam buddies. Albert has hitchhiked all the way up to D.C. from Locust Grove, Georgia to learn the ropes from his dad’s old friend, hoping to one day start his own cab business.

He quickly earns his cabby’s license and is soon on his way to reaching his dreams.  Harold’s treats his employees with respect, and heart is in the right place, but the success of his company is hindered by his unmotivated crew.  Albert recognizes this lack of effort and tries to inspire his coworkers to focus themselves.  But it takes a kidnapping to get the company to finally work as a team.
