Casino (1995)
Nominated for the Academy Award supporting actress.
The lasting impression that this film left on me is one of excessive length. It is a good film, but just too damn long. It follows two men that are sent to Las Vegas by the mob to watch over a few casinos. The men eventually make it big, but their luck takes a turn for the worst. Written by Nicholas Pileggi, the author of Wiseguy, the book from which GoodFellas is based. (Written and directed by Martin Scorsese)
