Bound (1996)

Film noir with lesbians; very cool. With more twists in the plot than a bag of Rolds Gold's, this is above and beyond the call of entertaining. One of those that you have to sit through the credits just to absorb your thoughts on what you saw. It’s the story of two lady lovers that devise a plan to steal two million dollars from the Mafia. But as can be expected, things go awry and the original plan needs to be modified to suit the situation. Susie Bright, a well known lesbian and author of much lesbian erotica, served as technical advisor on the film to make sure the love making scenes were above standard. Because of those scenes, the original cut was given an "above R" rating and had to be mildly edited. The unedited/unrated version can be found on VHS and DVD.
