8 Million Ways to Die (1986)
This little beauty is about an alcoholic cop who has to protect a hooker from a drug dealer. It's based from the classic crime novel by the same name, though it does not contain one single scene from the book. The screenplay was rewritten a number of times by a number of writers, leaving it full of holes. A few of the major players in the project have admitted that it didn't turn out to be the film they started making. It's gritty and dirty and sleazy and if you're into that kind of thing, go nuts. Also, if you take the time to count, the film actually only covers 6.3 million ways to die; 1.7 million ways away from it's promised amount. (Written by Oliver Stone)
